WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES

Each tenant is responsible for their portion of Water & Sewer fees. The Town of Nackawic invoices Atlantic Garden Homes on a Quarterly basis. This is a fixed rate and not metered or calculated on usage. For example, if you moved in February 1st your Water & Sewer fees for the first quarter would be $14.02 x 2 = $28.00. For the year 2022 the quarterly rate is $504.60. This number will be divided equally by 12 residences or $42.05 per quarter. This equates to $14.02 per month per tenant. Tenants moving in during each quarter will be prorated accordingly.

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION

• Garbage collection is Friday (pending confirmation).

• The tenant is responsible for the utilities. The Water & Sewer will come as one invoice from the Town to Atlantic Garden Homes.  Atlantic Garden Homes will pay the total and invoice each tenant proportionally.

• Snow removal for the main thruway of Nicholas Lane will be the responsibility of Atlantic Garden Homes.  

• Snow removal for the individual driveways and walkways  is the responsibility of the tenant.

• Visitor parking is available at the rear of the lot.

Here are some tips and tricks to keep your garden home clean and healthy:

• Cleaning the range hood - please make sure you wipe along the grain of the stainless steel. 

• Keep the washing machine door open - this allows moisture to escape after each load. A good resource is at https://www.bhg.com/homekeeping/laundry-linens/products/washer-care-maintenance/.

• We will clean and replace filters every 3 to 6 months.
